Dr Stephen Palmer PhD CBiol CSci CPsychol FAC (Hon) FISCP Accred FIoL is Adjunct Professor of Coaching Psychology in the Department of Communication and Psychology, Aalborg University, Denmark. He is a Chartered Scientist, Chartered Coaching Psychologist, Registered Health Psychologist and APECS Accredited Executive Coach and Supervisor.
He is former President and Honorary Fellow of the Association for Coaching, and currently President and Fellow of the International Society for Coaching Psychology, and Vice President and Honorary Fellow of the Institute for Health Promotion and Education. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership. He is former Co-Editor of International Coaching Psychology Review, former editor and now Consulting Editor of Editor of the International Journal of Health Promotion & Education. He has written/edited 60 books including Cognitive Behavioural Coaching in Practice, Solution Focused Coaching in Practice, Positive Psychology Coaching in Practice and Handbook of Coaching Psychology. He is former Professor of Practice, University of Wales Trinity Saint David (2018-2024) and a Fellow and former President of the Association for Coaching. Dr Siobhain O’Riordan PhD CSci CPsychol FISCP Accred MIHPE Hon is Chartered Scientist and Chartered Coaching Psychologist. She has full divisional membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Division of Academics, Researchers and Teachers in Psychology (DARTP) and is a member of the BPS Psychobiology Section. She is Course Co-Director on the stress management and coaching programmes and a trainer at the Centre for Coaching. She is Fellow of the Institute for Health Promotion and Education, Fellow of the International Society for Coaching Psychology and Accredited Coaching Psychologist and Supervisor. From 2013-2015 she was Editor of the International Journal of Health Promotion & Education. Currently, she is Founder Chair of the International Society for Coaching Psychology, Consulting Editor of The Coaching Psychologist and Editor of Coaching Psychology International. Her other roles include supervising doctorate students at the Wales Academy for Professional Practice and Research, University of Wales Trinity Saint David where she is a Research Fellow. She is also a Director of the International Academy for Professional Development Ltd. She has published research and practice papers and her latest book is Introduction to Coaching Psychology (2021, with Palmer).
Nick Edgerton MSc CPsychol MAREBT Accred is a Co-director of Coaching programmes and a trainer at the Centre. He is a Chartered Psychologist and experienced cognitive-behavioural coach and therapist. He is an Association for Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy Accredited Therapist. Nick developed the cognitive-behavioural SPACE model of coaching, counselling and stress management. He has published articles and chapters on cognitive-behavioural coaching and the SPACE model. He is on the European & International Advisory Board of the European Journal of Counselling Theory, Research and Practice.
Sheila Panchal MSc CPsychol MISCP is a Chartered Psychologist and Registered Occupational Psychologist.
She is co-author of ‘Turning 30: How to get the life you really want’ (with Jackson, 2005). She has applied positive and coaching psychology in a range of organisational settings. She holds a Professional Development Certificate in Coaching Psychology from the University of Sydney. Sheila specialises in transitions, from developmental turning points to dealing with the stress of organisational change. She is former Honorary Secretary of the International Society for Coaching Psychology and is currently a Director.
Dr Rachael Skews PhD CPsychol FISCP is a coach, workplace psychologist, behavioural scientist, trainer, speaker, author, supervisor and advisor. She is an internationally recognised subject matter expert in acceptance and commitment coaching. She is a registered supervisor with the BPS, specialising in acceptance and commitment coaching. In her commercial career, Rachael has successfully developed both traditional and technology-delivered psychological interventions. She has extensive experience consulting with clients from industries across the private, public, and charity sectors. She is a chartered psychologist with the British Psychological Society, an accredited coaching psychologist with the International Society for Coaching Psychology, and a Fellow of the Centre for Evidence Based Management.
Kasia Szymanska MSc CPsychol MISCP Accred is the Director of Distance Learning programmes and a trainer at the Centre. She is a Chartered Psychologist, International Society for Coaching Psychology Accredited Coaching Psychologist. She is Membership Secretary of the International Society for Coaching Psychology, and a former Editor of The Coaching Psychologist published by the British Psychological Society Special Group in Coaching Psychology. She is Co-Editor of the European Journal of Counselling Theory, Research and Practice.
